The United States government has approved $180 million in 2021 for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP), available to nonprofits located in designated high-threat areas.

This grant provides funding to support physical security enhancements and related emergency preparedness planning, training, and exercises.

The information on this site is available to any organization that wishes to use it. Additional resources and support are available through local Jewish Federations and the Jewish Federations of North America. Find your Federation here.

    We know that applying for grants can be daunting. So, we’ve created a one-stop-shop for all of the information you might need and will provide a dedicated help desk to help you through the process.

  • SECURITY ASSESSMENT TOOL

    We have developed a free Threat, Vulnerability & Risk Assessment (TVRA) tool that utilizes approved best practices. It’s a step-by-step series of questions that will enable you to assess all your security needs for the NSGP grant.

  • GRANT SUPPORT

    We know that writing this grant may seem challenging. That is why, for communities without Security Directors, we have created a special fund to support your grant writing application process. Funds can be accessed through your local Federation.
